New York Day 1

J and I arrived in NYC around 7am in the morning and were running on 0 hours of sleep. We couldn't check in until 3pm and therefore really tried to kill as much time as possible in the least exhausting way...We didn't actually have time to plan out an itinerary for this trip so everything was pretty much impromptu!  So with nothing planned in a foreign city, we just started wandering around to "scope" out the area.

Breakfast at Red Flame Diner

NYC is SOOOOO PRETTY. I almost feel like Vancouver's a farmland now...We stayed at City Club Hotel which is a mere 5 minutes away from Times Square so we were constantly surrounded by gorgeous architecture, vibrant lights and LIFE (hard to find in Vancouver after 9pm...)

Madison Square, 5th Avenue,  Bryant Park, Grand Central station were all within walking distance!

Dinner at Tony's

Sometimes I really think there are signs showing that J and I are meant to be together. We walked into Toys 'R' Us and tada - both our names appear side by side. Isn't that cool?!?

Cheesecake for dessert!

53rd & 6th Ave Chicken Rice for supper!

Living the NY lifestyle is so exhausting...but I think I've fallen in love with the city!
